inner, outer beauty

Some of you have commented on the fact that in some of my posts, I refer to myself as 'ugly,' when even a casual glance at my photos reveals me to be what the kids these days (by which I mean MYSELF, ulp...) refer to as a 'stone cold hottie.'

The reason for this is spiritual.

I was, of course, referring to those miscellaneous dark inner islands of spiritual, existential ugliness that reside within us all, hottie or otherwise. St. Augustine had ripped abs.
