Stevereads Gets a New Home!

The week's hiatus here at Stevereads has, I trust, given you all a chance to catch up on your reading (and the reverse - the week straddling New Year's is the only time when I don't read), charge up your library cards, and gird your mental loins for another year of regular book-chat!

The new year starts off with a momentous change here at Stevereads - after much thought, a few misgivings, and some shameless blandishments (wine and latkes, as it were), I've decided to move the whole dang thing over to Open Letters Monthly (http:www.openlettersmonthly.com), where it will join a nascent 'family' of blogs. I'll be joining OLM's new blogging hostess with the mostess, Lisa Peet of Like Fire fame ... and we'll also be featuring a new blog by a guy named Walt Whitman, from whom we expect great things. And if I have my way, that family will grow in 2010.

Disorienting, to say the least, moving someplace new after all these years boring you all in this old location! But rest assured: aside from the new location (which those of you who feel so inclined should, you know, mark or make note of or do whatever people do in such circumstances), this will still be the same Stevereads you've all come to know and love for lo, these many months. Sure, it may look a little better, but that happens to all of us as we get older!

So kindly mark the change and join me there! 2010's cavalcade of new entries begins tomorrow!

No way to remain anonymous at your fancy new site Steve. But wanted to send you off with much appreciation and best wishes now that we will all be sharing you with the larger literary world. They will be much better readers for it!

There is no need to invest much at first.
You may commense earning with a money that usually goes
for daily food, that's 20-100 dollars.
I have been participating in one project for several years,
and I'll be glad to let you know my secrets at my blog.

Please visit blog and send me private message to get the info.

P.S. I earn 1000-2000 per daily now.

As soon as Irins head tucked into the curve of her neck, tears broke out. It filled in the cracks that had formed when she exploded, when shed fallen apart. His harsh words rode their storm, a garrote of meaning that made her gurgle. Tykir and Brevin stepped aside, and Lanthan sank onto the couch with her. Only then did she become aware of the attention of the others in the balcony. That spell shouldnt have been so hard. But maybe we could eat first? Gala rolled her eyes, smacking him lightly before she pushed up to sit. She could still turn away and leave. All she wanted to do was run screaming or shove hot pokers in her eyes. Yes, Brevin agreed, thumbing aside a tear that slid down her cheek. She stepped back again. It put his nose right above hers, his bright eyes boring down into her skull. Oh yes, this was right. She closed her eyes, wanting to savor every little move he made. It didnt look like any of the stone or woodcarved trees. She could have enslaved the raedjour. That, and you havent asked to talk to me alone before. Im simply glad to be alive and back among the people I love. I havent the time nor the inclination to come up with a spell just now.

Brevin stared at the far wall, Tykir at the table, Lanthan at Brevins back. His hands came over her eyes, which wouldnt see then the black truly took over. The bowl and spoon remained, but the girl and infant were nowhere to be seen. She held her breath when Arkir dived underneath Lanthans arm, caught him in a hold. Someone was there to help her.
